Nutritionist website cost

How much does a nutritionist website cost?

Straight answer first, then a plain-English guide to what actually changes the price — pages, programmes, bookings, content and whether you are starting from scratch or updating what you already have.

Short answer

How much does a nutritionist website cost in the UK?

At Gee Web Design, a Starter website is £250, an Intermediate website starts from £495 and a Custom project starts from £1,000. The final cost depends on the number of pages, the functionality you need and what you want the website to do — a simple consultation-enquiry site sits at the lower end, while programme sign-ups or booking integrations sit at the top.

Most nutrition websites only need to do one job well: turn an interested visitor into a booked consultation.
  • Websites from £250
  • Published pricing, no sales calls
  • You own the website
  • Typical builds from 7–14 days
  • Optional care plans from £15/month
  • Quote in writing before any work starts

Our three website packages

We publish our prices so you can work out roughly where you sit before speaking to anyone. There are three packages, and most nutrition professionals land in the first two.

  • A website you own outright — domain, content and files.
  • A design that works properly on a phone, because many clients will find you there.
  • Pages that load quickly rather than making people wait.
  • Clear page titles and headings so Google can tell what each page is about.
  • Your qualifications and registrations presented properly, where people look for them.
  • An enquiry route that arrives in your inbox and is easy to reply to.
  • A simple editor so you can change prices, text and photos yourself.
  • A written quote up front, with no surprise invoices at the end.

Starter — £250

A small, fast, mobile-friendly website. Typically home, about, services, FAQs and contact, with your credentials, an enquiry form and a simple editor so you can change text and images yourself.

Intermediate — From £495

More pages doing more work: a page for each service or programme, longer educational content, a resources or blog section, and stronger internal linking so each service can be found on its own.

Custom — From £1,000

Bespoke requirements — online programme sign-ups, client areas, payment or practice-software integrations, multi-practitioner clinics, or a large amount of written content.

What we will not do

We will not quote you an industry average or claim to know what other designers charge. The prices above are ours, they are published, and you get a written quote before anything begins.

What changes the price

The main things that affect the price are the number of pages, the services or programmes you need to explain, whether bookings or other integrations are required, and whether we are building from scratch or improving an existing website.

Two nutrition websites can look similar and cost very differently. These are the factors that genuinely move the number, in roughly the order they matter.

Number of pages

Every page has to be designed, written, structured and checked. Five pages is a Starter site. Twelve to twenty pages with a page per service is Intermediate territory.

Service pages

If you offer weight management, gut health, sports nutrition and family nutrition, each one deserves its own page. That costs more to build, but it is also how someone searching for one specific thing finds you rather than bouncing off a single combined list.

Nutrition programmes

A programme described on a page is straightforward. A programme people sign up and pay for online, with content delivered week by week, is custom work and priced accordingly.

Bookings, forms and other functionality

A simple enquiry form is included in every build. Longer intake forms, health questionnaires or file uploads take more setting up. If you already use booking software, we usually connect or embed it so visitors stay on your site — building booking from scratch is rarely worth it and we will say so.

Existing website or new build

Redesigning a site with usable content is often quicker than starting from nothing. Starting from nothing gives more freedom. Both are legitimate; see the section below.

Content and images

If you write your own service descriptions, you keep the cost down and the words sound like you. If you would rather we wrote them, that is quoted separately. Real photographs of you and your consultation space are usually more useful than generic stock imagery, because they show clients what to expect.

Not sure which package fits?

Tell us what you offer and how clients currently get in touch, and we'll tell you honestly which of the three you need — including if the cheapest one is enough.

Tell Me About Your Website

Do I need a new website, or can my existing nutrition website be redesigned?

This is the question we get asked most, and the honest answer is that it depends on three things: whether the content still reflects what you offer, whether the design works on a phone, and whether you can update it yourself without help.

If the words are broadly right and the brand still feels like you, a redesign is usually faster and cheaper. If your services have changed completely, or the site is built on something you cannot edit or move, a fresh build is normally the better value.

Online consultations widen your catchment — worth reflecting on the site if you offer them.

A redesign usually makes sense when

  • Your services and content are still accurate
  • The branding still fits how you present yourself
  • The problem is mainly how it looks and how it behaves on mobile
  • You want it modernised without a long project

A new build usually makes sense when

  • Your services or specialism have changed significantly
  • You cannot edit or move the current site
  • There is no sensible page structure to build on
  • You are adding programmes, bookings or a members area

A real nutrition website we modernised

Emily wanted her existing nutrition website updated and modernised rather than replaced — a good example of when a redesign is the sensible option.

Emily already had a website and wanted it updated and modernised, so it looked current and represented her nutrition coaching properly.

The brief was straightforward: a cleaner, more professional site that is easier for prospective clients to use and better aligned with her business today.

  • Ideas discussed on an initial call, then built on with our own creative input
  • A demo shared before build, which Emily was happy with first time
  • Communication maintained throughout the project
  • A process Emily described as swift and professional

"Really happy with the service I received from Dave. I wanted my website updating & modernising. During our initial call, I really felt like Dave listened to my ideas, adding his own creative flare. I was really happy with the demo, so it felt like 'first time right' - his communication was great throughout the process, which was also swift & professional. Would recommend!"
