Beauty salon website cost in the UK: what changes your quote?

The cost of a beauty salon website depends on the work it needs to do. A small site that explains your services and links to an existing booking tool is a different project from a multi-location website with staff profiles, gift vouchers and custom integrations.

The useful question is not simply “How much is a website?” It is “What is included, and does that cover the way my salon operates?”

Start with the pages your clients need

A simple salon website might include a homepage, treatments, about, gallery and contact page. A larger salon may need separate pages for key services, its team and different locations.

More pages mean more planning, writing, images and review work. However, every minor treatment variation does not require a separate page. Group related options unless clients need a substantially different explanation or booking process.

Prepare a list of your main services before requesting quotes. This gives designers a consistent scope to price.

Define what booking integration means

“Booking included” can describe very different arrangements: a button linking to your existing provider, an embedded calendar, or a custom system that exchanges information with another platform.

Ask the designer to explain the proposed arrangement in writing. Confirm any third-party subscription, payment or transaction charges separately. An attractive booking button does not mean the cost of the booking platform is included.

Agree who supplies the content

Your quote should state whether you provide finished text or the designer helps write and organise it. Treatment descriptions, staff biographies, price lists and photography all take time to prepare.

If your images are mainly social-media screenshots, allow for selecting better originals or commissioning photography. Check that you have permission to use client images on your website.

Compare launch work and ongoing costs

Ask about domain registration, hosting, maintenance, content changes and access to an editor. These are separate responsibilities even when one provider handles them all.

If replacing an existing website, include migration planning in the quote. Preserving useful URLs and testing redirects takes work that a brand-new site does not require.

What does Gee Web Design charge?

At the time of writing, Gee Web Design lists Solo Professional websites from £495 and Business Growth websites from £995. Custom functionality is individually quoted. These are starting prices for defined scopes, not a promise that every salon project fits a package.

Check the current website pricing and request a written quote covering your treatment pages, booking requirements and ongoing support.

Can I keep my existing booking platform?

Often a website can link to your existing platform. Embedded or deeper integrations depend on what that platform supports and must be confirmed before work begins.

What should I send when asking for a quote?

Send your existing website, treatment list, booking provider, required pages and examples of designs you like. Mention any launch deadline and who will supply the content.

Before asking for quotes, decide which services need their own treatment pages, and if you're replacing an existing site, work through the salon website redesign checklist. For a broader view of pricing across industries, read how much a website costs in the UK.
